I hadn't ridden my mountain bike for a week and then when I eventually took it out I tried to shift down but my shifter was stuck. I'm wondering if the fact I'd left it in one of the lowest gears created too much tension in the shifter mechanism, but I can't work out what was affected. Everything inside the shifter looks fine.
I've disassembled and then reassembled this trigger shifter three times now and each time it's remained stuck. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?
