After a bit of advice all, stupidly managed to mangle the above cap (don't ask how, brain fart moment) still able to get it off or on but it looks horrible, ordered what I thought was the right part but turns out it's too big, the actual part is about an M11 not m15, can't find it anywhere. Am I looking in the wrong places? Anyone?
Part I ordered is truvativ crank arm bolt m15/m26 GXP 11.69000.002.160
If its GXP or DUB BB it will need that part above (or the steel equivalent). Sounds like you might have powerspline, which would use an M8. 11.6115.115.000 is the normal part code but you'll be hard pushed to find a version with a self extractor cap.
Cheers mate - it's off a 2017 build you wouldn't think it'd be difficult. Tried to post a pic but no idea how to on this forum. Yeah part I ordered is too big deffo.
Had a look it's definitely not the powerspline - it's the same as this linked below, but the cap the bolt pushes against to self extract is about 11mm diameter and not 15mm like the part I got - and I just don't know where to look. It's a SRAM NX crank.
