Hi,
Can anyone tell me what roadbike SRAM chain is the replacement/equivalent to a shimano CS-5600?
PC-1050 or PC-1070
Sram chains always confuse me, but i think i have sussed it now.
Correct me if i'm wrong but the CS-5600 is 10 speed 105?
Sram do there chains in the following order and the comparisons to shimano are by the side -
PC1030 - Sora/Tiagra OEM chains
PC1050 - 105
PC1070 - Ultegra
PC1090R - Dura-Ace (Hollow Pin ect)
Hopefully that helps
Cheers
Josh
yes, 10 speed 105.
Thanks njee and josh
They'll all work, so basically just choose the one that suits your budget! I've got a 1070 on the road bike and a 1090 on the MTB, no issues with either. No Power Link on a 10 speed SRAM chain though.
Njee20-
Which Sram 10 speed chain doesn't come with a power link? Mine all have done...
Josh..
They all come with Power Locks, you can't actually remove them again!
Got you, very good point.
I end up using a pair of mole grips, not ideal but does the job.
Cheers
