[Closed] SRAM Eagle drivetrain issues

First post since I picked up my new bike, thanks for all the advice, ended up buying the KTM Scarp Sonic, lovely bike hopefully I can get good enough to do it justice!
Anyway, wanted to mention something I came across while setting the bike up, it came with the Eagle XX1, looks very bling and the 50 tooth dinner plate isn't ludicrously outsized. Went out for a test ride and found the chain was skipping (in the same gear, (like a link was stiff) whenever I put any power down or went up a hill, naturally I was a wee bit upset with this as I had put it into my LBS for a dropper post and quick tune up.
I contacted the guys at FLi Distribution (who provided the bike) to tell them that the LBS suggested a slightly bent rear mech hanger. Got two new ones in the post today, great service.
Was looking at the SRAM website for installation instructions etc and noticed that the Powerlock link on the bike was installed upside down. I undid it, and reversed the link, went out to test it and lo and behold, problem solved. Wasn't looking forward to fiddling with the drivetrain so was pleased with that result. Just posting my stupidity so others can not make the same mistake or can diagnose simply.
