In the north of England or Borders. Ideally a level of physical and technical challenge to keep some motivation over the winter.
So far I have the Selkirk Marathon in April and Tweedlove Vallelujah in March.
Any other ideas?

Hamsterley Beast was May this year, I found it so challenging I bailed 5 miles from the finish

Not technical but Moors and Shores at Dalby forest is in April and its a nice long ride out

Rochdale Evans ride it, last weekend in January is challenging lots of climbing and usually bad weather, enjoyable though
