I had a a 600lb Romic coil shock ( I assume that measurement is pounds) that was about 2.5 inches long I've got a new romic shock whth a 550lb spring which is only about 2 inches long.
It feels the same, but whats "better" a longer spring, or a shorter one for a given shock stroke lengh?
Unlikely I know but the first thing I thought was "after a while would a well used spring be shorter and need less force to compress, maybe 600 down to 550lb and 2.5 inches down to 2 inches?"
Did you replace your old spring with a new-old spring?
Would explain it feeling the same, oh, and can someone who knows what they are doing tell me what I don't know about springs, basically everything 🙂
