I have a broken spoke, checked on merlin site to buy new but need to know measurment. i have measureed 260mm from rim to hole on hub is this correct or should i deduct 2mm for the screw part. merlin black stainless are 258 260 262 264 help please. i know i could take it all apart and measure a good one but need to ride tomorrow. its on a meta 5 with sun ringle rims

You certainly don't want to subtract anything, the spoke doesn't stop at the rim! You presumably measured along the 'line' of the broken spoke? I'd be inclined to go 262, you may find 264 a bit long depending on how accurately you measured.
