[Closed] Spesh Command post - how to 'reset the plunger?

New post (second hand, so not so simple to return to shop) and is sold 'depressed'. Instructions say to extend it by pulling lever and if this doesn't work, that the plunger needs reset, which should be done by a Spec mechanic/dealer.
Anyone know how it's done, as I don't have a warranty to fret about ๐Ÿ™„

Have you checked the air pressure , if there is not enough air in it then it wont reach full height , off the top of my head I think they only take 30PSI. The lever to activate the post needs to be moved throughout virtually all of its travel to make the post activate so make sure you are doing that .

The lever at the top should push down to release, not pull up. There is a second internal cable which can be adjusted, drop all the air out and remove the lower tube (instructions on pinkbike) and you'll see it at the base of the upper. Unless you've got an internally routed one, in which case you're on your own and I have no idea ๐Ÿ™‚

Sorted now - a slight push down (as though there were weight on saddle) and 'schwing' up it came

They benefit from some silicone spray to keep them running smooth, after which it should pop up straight away.
