Considering one of these, interested to know what sizes people have gone with. I'm 5ft 10 should I go with a medium or up to a large?

You're right on the cusp, and a lot will depend on how you like your fit. Your best bet it probably to take yourself to a shop and have a shot on one of each.

I am 5-10 too, bought mine in 2008 but have since had a warranty replacement to a 2010.
I would normally have purchased a medium, but went to a dealer and he basically would only sell me a large, saying the medium's top tube was too short for me.
