Been offered a 2008 Spesh Allez Elite by a colleague for £350, good condition, serviced 50 miles ago, forks changed to Kinesis Race Light 7075 alloy rather than stock Spesh carbon.

Is it worth £350.... Can't find any the same anywhere!

New to the road market, the hybrid has to go for this step up!

It's this one

nice bike, but I'd want to know why the fork was changed.

£350 seems very steep.... I'd be offering around £200

For comparison, I was about to sell my 58 cm 2013 trek 1.5 (similar spec) with a spare set of rrp £200 wheels for £375....

Seems hugely overpriced. I've got a 2009 one (and I think it's horrible actually - but I've only had expensive roadbikes otherwise, so probably doing it a disservice!), but I'd be looking more like half that!

I had a 2009 allez and i liked it, but 350 quid for a 6 year old tiagra equipped bike is criminal, that's double what it's worth.

Yep, very overpriced. I got a 2011 model earlier this year for less than that with a few extras. Nice enough bike though
