I know, but you don't need to read this if you don't want to 🙂

I've had a brand spanking new Whyte E-120 frame, shock & bits delivered over the weekend as a warranty replacement (Can't fault ATB-Sales service, once again). I hate to sell it as I love the ride but, having broken one, I feel I need something stronger so it's got to go.

My question is, what do people think I should ask for it? RRP is £1500 btw

Any constructive comment are greatly appreciated 🙂

My view would be if you really want to sell the frame .....

Scour the internet for the best price you can find for the frame then advertise it for that price less 10 - 15%.

After all whilst the buyer would be getting a new frame I doubt they would be getting any warranty 😕

Any help?

minimum 30% off I'd say and more for nicheness.

Put it on scum-bay with "best offer" for a month and see what happens.

£1200 Quid Winstanleys - without warranty = say £900 ONO 🙂

I reckon the £1k mark too

I take it any subsequent buyer will be without a warranty?

Thanks very much for the comments - I was expecting more of a flaming than that! And thanks Rich - you saw my ad then 🙂

I was thinking £900 was a pretty good price so I'll stick with that I guess. Yes, it's a £1500 frame but the lack of subsequent warranty makes a difference (although ATB-Sales seemed genuinely surprised I'd snapped the last one 🙂 )

I guess eBay's the best option. I just resent giving them 10% of any sale!
