[#2756371]

I am based in Mansfield and I "think" I am currently and intermediate rider.

I will have a go a most things, ride the easy Red @ SWP easily and fast with little braking, can pump / jump and ride berms etc but drop offs and big jumps make me stop and think.

Where and who would you recommend for the next step.

Cheers

You could always try the peak district as it's on your doorstep.

Can only comment on Lee Quarry, though haven't been round since last years STWeekender; I'd say it's good for progression in certain areas. Good rocky features, some pretty decent drop-offs, some jumpy bits if that's yer thang. Certainly improved my confidence for rock-garden type features (was only going round myself though, no lessons).
Then there's the pump track(s) + link to Cragg Quarry too. Might be worth calling Ed at Great Rock to discuss, seen him up there once or twice.
