I know this is really bad juju but i'm hoping to get some STW wisdom on the value of my road bike

It's a Litespeed Tuscany (2006 i think) 55cm horizontal TT fitted with Campag Chorus Carbon 11 speed compact groupset, Mavic ksyrium elite SL wheels.

Decent but not top of the line parts (EA70 bars, Conti 4 Seasons tyres, Carbon post, Charge knife saddle)

Weighs about 17/18 lbs, rides very nicely - fast! - just too small for me.

Some parts changed from this pic (black tape, black saddle)

Thanks!

Half a pork and black pudding pie and a bottle of Vimto. You may also have a high five or fist bump, you get to choose.

You've already been offered a fist, a finger and a worm; I'd say hold out.

It's 11s so it's still 'a la mode', it's Ti which is nice, ut I'd have thought people after a Ti frame now would be looking for a more 'classic' looking frame like an enigma than a litespeed which was intended to be more of a competitor to carbon/aluminium?

Groupset's got to be worth £500 alone, £1000-£1200?

Not my cup of tea though so I may be miles out.

i dont know diddly squat about road bikes, but reposition the hoods properly, cut the steerer correctly, full service and hope for £500 - it doesnt look or sound like a dog

Have you seen the £2500 one on gagabay excluding wheels 🙄

He'd be very lucky to reach £800 without wheels imo and I'm a Litespeed fan when it comes to their off road segment hard tails.

I'll include a chest bump too

Excluding the wheels, that one on ebay has £1400 of groupset and fork alone, 2.5k might be high but its not obscene.

Good luck getting anyone to sell a bike with a DA9000 groupset for £800, you're in cuckoo land.

The OP's groupset is £800 in the shops, so its not going to be chicken feed.

Like another has mentioned above, I too am not in the complete know when it comes to road going bike specs but something is really nagging at me when I came across it on ebay that he is in cuckoo land to then be removing the wheels as well.

could well be older than 2006, i'll need to find it in the brochures!

chest bumps and vimto happily accepted 🙂

i've sorted hoods and things now, totally slammed too..

I have seen the one on Ebay, bit of a crazy price.

I think i could get
300-500 for the frame
350ish for the groupset
150 for the wheels

but that's a bit of a pain tbh

I don't think you're far off there at all, certainly if you aim at the lower end for the frame. But I think if you leave it complete £500, maybe £600 is about as much as you'll get.

Nice, then consider it sold my friend. Hold on, do I have to share the bike with TimP?

Tim, i'll have it on Tuesdays if that's cool with you.

Have you seriously just chopped down the steerer on a bike you are selling?
