Im really struggling to get comfy on my saddle.

I bought a charge spoon as that is what i have on my hybrid.

It doesnt matter if i wear proper cycling shorts or normal shorts etc i still can get comfy and am starting to get a couple of sores ??

Any ideas on what I can do??

Its weird as I had my old charge spoon on this bike before swapping it to my hybrid as it matched the paint colour !!

I took photos of where it was on the post and what position the spirit level was etc and set it the same but still cant get comfy on it??

Maybe get one of those saddle fittings done? I know the specialized concept stores do them. Otherwise it is just trial and error with shorts, saddles and adjustments.

I always go for a very smooth saddle ,as I want to slide about on it ,rather than have my lycra/baggies pulled all over the place.
I tried a charge spoon and thought that it was too grippy.

No idea what shape would suit you ,but I have always used Flites.

Some shops have fizick demo saddles... Maybe give them a go? If you are in North hands/Berkshire try pedal on in Tadley....

Best thing I did for this was get measured up on the Specialized arse-o-meter. Turns out I was riding a saddle that was too narrow for my rs.
