Me, first solo attempt.

Team mate is ill, so i'm riding solo.

After two abortive pairs efforts where my team mates haven't made the finish line, I'm going for solo this year. It'll be my first 24hr solo. GULP!
If you see a big bloke on a GF 29er wearing a Morvélo top feel free to scream and shot at me to TTFU and pedal faster!

Last one I did in 2007 - lap times went from 35min ish in the dry to 2hrs + in the mud!
Not this year. 08's repair bill ended up very expensive 😯
My first solo too! Last year was horrid in the mud. I am going prepared for the worst.

Did Mayhem solo for the first time this year. You'll love it. I was glad it didn't rain too much. Doing SITS as a pair and early weather forcasts are good which means it will probably be horrendous.
