So ordered one of the posts on offer. It's arrived but on the remote it doesn't have the black plastic spacer thing that the jaws clamp on to. My other reverbs have this but is this missing the for anyone else?
I phoned up and the chap just said they are oem and they arrive how they arrive. I can send it back if I want. Not massively helpful.
If I clamp on the bars is it going to over stress the bars? Is this bit missing for any others bought?
ive never bothered fitting mine. I've probably got a couple lying around, I can post one on if you want one?

As long as your sensible when you tighten the clamp on the bar I can't see how it makes a difference, I have never had one on my reverb remote and my bars are fine so far.
If you run Avid brakes you just use the brake lever. Not much use without the spacer if you don't...

I got an OEM Reverb earlier in the year (not from On-One) and that didn't come with the spacer either.
You don't actually need them but it just looked wrong without one so I bought a couple like the ones posted above.
Do you still get full SRAM warranty on these OEM models?
Mine is back with SRAM at the moment actually, via Bike-Discount. The thing hasn't held it's pressure since I got it. Tried replacing the valve core to no avail so must have dodgy seals from the factory.
Everything was missing from mine... luckily I have spares from a proper boxed non-OEM post.
