I've only just thought that maybe they wont work with my shoes, which are Lake MX81's with a sole like

will be fine I reckon - might foul the sole slightly but I doubt it, and could easily cut/gring the relevant bits of sole
make sure you can easily disengage before riding (sometimes they go in easier than out)

Thats all I wanted to know. I dont mind cutting at the soles a little, just not loads as walking on cleats is horrible.
