A good read, not as many bikes as id have thought though 😉
You still getting rid of the tyres from your Scott?
Also the title is misleading. Never assumed it was going to be about bikes, just you pimping your body out.

yes the nics are going, rear is quite worn, front is almost new! just ott for what I need, they are 2.4 nobby nics snakeskin.

I thought 11 was a lot.. I have certaily had a lot of stick, couple that with circa 400 parts on top, its been a LOT. Finally happy to be able to just ride and enjoy it!

Oh Mrb / BigM this is dedicated to you 😉

Front

Rear, the middle is worn, sides are pretty good.. you get a good idea of them from the pics, front is pretty good and looks almost new. They are nice but £100 for a pair.. crazy!

Strangest thing is, i only own two now, and one of those, is the first one i bought out of those eleven. (grass is always greener, and all that) Nothing has come up as good for me as my Pace.

How much you looking for for the Nics?

A typo in the first line...tsk tsk... Nice collection you've had over the years. I'll use it as ammo when the other half complains about my chops and changes of bikes.

Good effort, but this:

Great on the downhills, not possible to pedal at all! Very heavy, like riding a barge with a 2 million lb cargo

You were surprised why? 😉

Nice blog - sorta sums up how I feel when it's time to move on. Shame about the Intense though - it was a cracking looking bike - the Ransom looks pretty good too. Enjoy!!!

thanks mama.. yes the intense was damn nice, I just could not get on with it.. changed the wheels, forks, stem & bar configurations but it just did not feel right... fettled the suspension lots.. no joy. The ransom just feels spot on and actually weighs the same as the 5.5 did!

I have some on my Bullit and they weigh as much as the rest of the bike put together! Great forks though, and it does go uphill... at a stately pace. 🙂

I do like 66's .. ok a bit heavy, very strange but i just do not get on with Fox forks or shocks.. always got on with Marz far better!! I think I was doomed with the 5.5 with 36's and a DHX 5.0
