Hopefully riding snowdon next weekend, after a few pointers.
Thinking of doing the llanberis - rangers route.
Can anyone give me a couple of pointers?
How long will this take? we're all reasonably fit (pretty vague i know!) and were thinking of doing this in the morning and then onto coed y brenin in the afternoon to do the beast.
I've seen estimates of anything from 3 hrs to 6 hrs.

Is the route easy to follow? I've climbed snowdon walking a couple of times, but cant remember the route, and i've certainly not been down the rangers path before.

Any other tips or hints?

Between 2 and 3 hours up and 30 - 50 minutes down. All dependent on fitness.

Also doing this route, not this weekend but next. Anyone know what the conditions up top are like at the mo? Much snow/ice around (enough to effect descending)?
