Particularly my On One Scandal.
Is this possible.?
The bearings are shot on my Scandal so I need a new headset in the near future. What are my chances of slackening the geo a bit at the same time.?
Any advice appreciated.
if its a 44mm headtube then you can get one.
Works components do a 1&1/8 angleset
Not cheap though
I have one of these and on the bike it's on I like it. Anecdotally the bearings don't last particularly well.
I fitted the WC linked up there to my 5 spot and the one degree made a difference I'd say.
Fitted a 1 degree one to my BFe when On One were doing rebranded Works ones. Definitely made a difference for the better. Think Works do a 2 degree one now?
Not for conventional 1"1/8 head tube but yes for a 44mm head tube.
superstar lasted longer than my previous works one
I fitted one of those works components ones to an old Marin a few years ago. Did what it said on the tin
So I'm checking out the Superstar option.. I need a minimum of EC44 tube it seems like Granny and Poah said. Does that mean that my 1.1/8 headtube is not compatible?
Guess I need to measure the internal of the headtube.. Anyone know what aScandal V2 26" 1/18 HT is internally, before I dismantle it all. ?
Or the Works one but yeah, its pretty steep price wise..
