I fancy doing a SS conversion on either my Anthem or my Coiler. Anyone got any experience of doing such a thing? Did it work? Which one of these frames has the least chain growth?

ive considered it, and a few friends did it for SSUK last year, best way is get an old short cage road rear mech as the tensioner, apparently Matt Carr does the same on his FS bikes.......

I tried a Kona A frame a while back. The main problem is when you are out of the saddle you bounce around too much to make it worth while.

It doesn't if you have a lockout. Or just get an A.

what does a lockout have to do with it? of course you can SS a full bounce bike, if i remember correctly, dave hemming won SSUK once on a single speed marin mount vision, and a guy finished 3rd at SSWC this year on a single speed'ed santa cruz nomad of all things......
