Went to purchase 4 energizer AAA re-chargable batteries for my small LED light (its a normal £8 jobby)
Not that simple though, as there were 700 mHa, 800 and 1000mHa versions. The staff at homebase had no idea which ones to use either. I have a LED headtorch, it takes 700 mHa, should I get four more of those or will the 1000's last longer or something?? 😕

Yes, larger mAh will last longer (stands for milli amps per hour)

Not quite - it stands for milli Amp hours. It's a unit of capacity.

Though beware cheap batteries claiming high mah values - some of em are rubbish.
