tempted by the On-one offer on these forks... wondering if the Team is worth the extra £70 (looking at the 80mm canti models)?

cheers 🙂

If the difference is poplock (then no) and blackbox damping (maybe). I bought a SID race earlier this year as I don't think I'd be good enough to notice the difference in damping but others have said the blackbox is a big improvement.

So far I've not got it set up well enough IMO - run a low pressure to get the sag/travel but it tends to go through the first half quickly and the second is quite a lot slower. No idea if the blackbox would be an improvement in this area.

IMO no, but I don't play with compression damping, infact I've taken the MoCo out of my Teams altogether.

No. I run races because, when they came out, they were lighter and feel great.

Cheers for the thoughts chaps. Looks like they're the same weight (1485g)? Only difference I can see is the Blackbox damping, is that it? Both come with Poploc as far as I can tell from the on-one site?

had races - got upgraded to teams when the races spat the dummy - difference is incredible

races spike like crazy on repetitive hits

the teams stay plush.

i was of the same opinion as you spokescycles till i got the teams and thought these feel different and tried a mates races on the same terrain and felt the jarring of them spiking back through the bars.

if you aint never had the teams yon wont notice the difference but once you have had them you wouldnt go back !
