Getting my lapierre spicy powdercoated all white, with white forks.

But what colour saddle and grips?

was thinking of either white, brown or black charge spoon and saddle and grips.

I have just swapped the white stem for a black one and the fork lowers for a white set. Pics will be added when complete.
It had white bars/stem/grips but looked stupid and plasticy. You need some contrast

Saddle is OK in white. Mine is a Specialized Alias and just cleans up really well. The grips tend to darken very quickly - depends how anal you are about it looking like new.

Not the best photos im afraid.

I warn you though the white charge grips and saddle do not stay that way for more than one ride...

Ah this is bollocks - I've posted pictures before and now can't get it to work. What am I doing wrong? The pictures are on Flickr - I click on 'share this' then on 'Embed It' - I copy the code, paste it into the IMG box, but all that appears is this:

geetee, right click the image in flickr and select "Properties" and copy the img location (in Explorer) or "Copy image location" (in firefox). Paste into the IMG box.

I think the flickr share this thing produces a clicky photo which won't work with the IMG tags.

Success! Thanks guys - all very helpful. What confuses me is that I have done this before and didn't use the process you outlined, although that does clearly work. Anyway, now that it works here are a few more:
[img] ?v=0[/img]
[img] ?v=0[/img]
And this is it before I modified it to reduce travel and weight

I'm of the opinion that frames and forks are the only place where you should use colour on a bike. Saddle, grips, bars etc should all be black.

Here's mine anyway, it now has white SIDs on it and looks awful as it has mudguards.

Pinches I do like your Intense - looks like a fun bike, compact, fast, chuckable, more than strong enough. Is it realistically light enough to do 2-3 hour trail rides on?

Not telling how much as I may want to sell it on here later on. Haven't weighed it but it is very light. Back end is a bit unforgiving but I do run the tires very hard and its ally so I suppose its to be expected. Very arse up head down but yeah, no reason why not.

To be honest, no. its not an all day trail bike and its impossible to pedal up hill for any distance! although: its a 16" and i cant run a long enough seat to make my legs work efficiently sat down. It has 4.5" travel in the steeper head angle but the geometry is full on 4x race bike. with my build, 31LB but as you say, fast rolling, chuckable.

or with DeeMaxx if you like

Some people do think so, normally my girlfriend who likens it to a "crane" not sure how.

i personally think the Foes Zig Zag on the first page is the considerably worse aesthetically (but in the same vane)
