Deliberating over a white Turner flux (as they are £600 cheaper than the black/blue)
Anyone got one, or any white Turner, or any white full suss?
Bit confused though as CRC have the white 2011's but the turner website didnt have white as an option for 2011, I thought it was just blue, black and raw?

I prefer the colour scheme white and black, as you can see by both bikes 😉
IMO buy the white frame as you'll be saving £600 and if can paint it and still save money if you absolutely hate the colour..
Why not ask CRC if they intend to offer the discount on the ano ones. Seems slightly odd that ano in 17" are more money.
Although, your bikes look quite big in those pictures, I'm a short @rse (5'7"), and I ride the 17" flux, and it doesn't fell that big.

all good, but only 1 turner? are they rare or something?
A lot of 6 pack frames were white, seen a few dw 5 spot and flux front triangles, on youtube DT talks about the 2010(??) flux at interbike and its all white.
It's a pain to keep clean but still looks good after 2 years of use!

what years are the white turners...I think CRC are false advertising?
My white 5spot was a '09 model, replaced with a 2010 updated version.
You can easily tell by the "Taco" brace used on the 09 + 10 version.
Anything newer has the solid "burrito" brace with is more square looking.
Its quite possible that there was a white version made in the current format - maybe cheaper as its painted vs anodized..?

The frames on CRC are 2011 as the spec states 'New Burrito Gusset'. 2009 & 2010 frames had the Taco gusset.
2009 had a Taco Gusset & the down tube had hose/cable guides that took two hose/cables secured with 1 cable tie.
2010 had Taco, a reinforcing piece added at the base of the seat tube where 2009 frames cracked & the hose/cable guides had one cable tie per hose/cable.
2011 Burrito replaced the Taco.
Burrito or Taco - the bridging piece between top tube & seat tube to strengthen the extended seat tube.
