@rewski pointone podiums

@rusty mac

it's taken me a while to get it to ride how i like. the coil shock and the bos fork have made a big difference.

I just got a joplin and once I'd installed an old tube to keep the filth out I was VERY happy with it.

Why does there have to be a 'type' of bike?

I've got a KS i900 too but the Gravity Dropper's the better bit of kit so it tends to get moved onto whichever bike is getting the most use. As you can see in the last pic I find it more essential than suspension :mrgreen:

Joplin 3 - £89.98 but no remote
Joplin 4 - £209.99 with remote

Joplin remote kit with cable and lever - £35.99

Anyone reckon they could make the Joplin 3 work with a remote?

I got instructions in my Joplin 3 of how to attach the remote kit. Very simple conversion.

The remote might work but the Joplin 3 won't 😯

Seriously, I've had two and in the end just took a full refund from 2Pure, who were excellent about it. The side to side 'slop' of the Joplin 3 just became too much of nuisance for my liking.

KS900 with remote on my Nomad - completely ace. Wouldn't touch a joplin with a barge pole. They all (well the ones I've seen, which is a sample size of 4) seem to get a lot of slop at the saddle or just plain break (i'm sure a load of people will now tell me that theirs hasn't...)

slx are stronger than xt. but i've never broken xt so wether that matters...
and they work great! when the bb dies i'll put a chris king/hope bb on it. slx x ck, the shame 😀
ccdb, (second hand off here).bos (cheaper than a 36) upgrades improve the bike a lot more than a set of cranks.

OT sorry
