In the light of being removed from this earth when I tell the missus I have bought a new frame, show me your Giant Trances or short trail bikes that go down as quick as they go up.
I don't think I have any of my x2 but its stock apart from a 50mm stem and to be honest I don't think I can tell the difference between that and the 70mm I took off.
Short rear travel 100mm - adjustable on the front 110 - 140mm rides ace ๐

My RM Element - think it was my fave bike yet until it snapped ๐
Had dual poploc which meant I could lock out both fork and rear sus at the flick of a switch which was fantastic for non technical climbing and meant that I could also set the suspension softer than otherwise would be a good all round compromise which meant that technical stuff was great ๐
105mm/120mm - is that considered "short" these days?
