So weve seen the vans.
but it strikes me (no need to question this, just take it on face value) that having a van on the drive, is, most of the year, a waste of MOT, Tax, Insurance and in a way, a waste of a perfectly good engine. (my head works in funny ways)
i reckon one of these would be wicked. not like towing a proper white plastic box of retirement misery, perfectly easy to pull behind a small car, but unlike a tent, no need for all that "camping" crap.
a small gas stove, on a flat, predicatble surface for easy cooking.
a warm dry double bed to sleep on.
and plenty of space for weekend Kit.
bikes can live in the back of the car ๐
half way between camping and caravanning.
im sure I saw one at the dyfi this year
anyone willing to admit to having a bike caravan?
no need for net curtains of course.
and in answer to my own quesiton, here is my "bike weekend camping" setup and hit the north
