Need some new ones and have been thinking about fleece warmers instead.
I don't use padded longs as I'd need a pair for each day. I'm thinking fleece CX shorts and warmers as a more practical options.
Any reason not to?

It's what I do.Being a lanky streak'o'piss means tights end up as 7/8ths anyway.

I do that on the MTB, tend to stick to tights on the road, extra windchill means a fleecy crotch is nice!

I like bib shorts and knee or leg warmers, I've got Pearl Izumi fleece warmers. They're great but it can still be a bit chilly around, err, yer bits, so to speak or lower back/upper arse! But yeah, they keep your legs warm nicely. Knee warmers are ace under baggies for MTBing or touring in cool mornings, then whip em off at lunchtime. ๐Ÿ™‚

On a related note.Does anyone do padded ,non roubaix bib tight/longs?
