Hi all

Looking at a new wheelset that has 15mm through axle hubs that cannot be adapted and wondered about the above adapter for the qr skewer fork I currently have.

Would using the adapter mean I would get the stiffness benefits of running the 15mm through axle?

Cheers

Your link is just to a load of QR listings.

This is what you need. It goes in the hub shell, and then the QR runs through this adaptor

Excellent stuff, almost identical to what I was looking at.

Any idea if the nukeproof one would work with shimano hubs and would it offer the rigidity of the 15mm axle or qr?

maybe, £15 so worth a go, probably depends on the fork

edit - the way the world is go for a hub that can be adapted to take QR/15/20mm it will save you cash in the long run.

Surely the fact that you'll still have a 5mm rod holding it all together means it'll be no stiffer than normal? If you want something stiffer (and future proof) run something like a superstar switch hub that can do qr/15/20 (as mentioned above) and run it with 9mm qrs.
