Morning All,
Looking to get some thoughts on the Litespeed Sewanee frame.
I have always like the idea of a short travel full suspension frame (Kona Hei Hei etc) but newer been that keen on the frames I have seen.
I am way off a purchase of such a frame but ......
The Litespeed Sewanee does have a lifetime warranty on its side.
Any thoughts on this or any other short travel FS bikes?
I did speak to 18bikes about a prototype they were working on but I think that was going to be a hardcore short travel bike.
No help at all but I have a Litespeed Occoee ht with 100mm travel. Love it. 8)
Cannondale Scapel for me, amazingly supple and plush. Cannondale Rush's are good too.
Far rather have a Scalpel - lighter and cheaper.
The Sewanee's been around a long time unchanged, there's a stupidly light one on light-bikes.com. A friend raced one for a few years and really liked it, and the ABG rep was raving about it when they released it.
Falls into the same bracket as all other ti bikes for me; there's cheaper things out there that do a better job.
YMMV.
