Looks nice. Is that the one that's £299 just now?

Is the chainstay yoke solid? Weight?

Y'know that's one of those rare bikes I have no need for whatsoever but really want.

Yeah, only 299. Weight feels "lighter than it looks".

chainstay yoke doesnt sound solid.

Nice,

Mine (HX2) is currently sat in the kitchen in the box it came in. I'll get it out when I get home tomorrow

Bit of a bargain considering on-one are knocking out the EBB's for £70 by themselves!!

I have been seriously thinking about one of those as I find my 456 a tank. Will it really do all day trailriding or is it just a jumpy-pumpy? I'm not particularly worried about the 'ooh ally is too stiff' brigade as the 456 is pretty damn harsh compared to older steels I have had.

Can't make my mind up on these. The front end looks great, but the back-end looks a bit plain in comparison to that sculptured top tube. Almost like the design budget ran out before they got to the back end.

Looks great! What size did you go for? How tall are you?

Did the headset come with a crown race?

Mine is near enough the same weight as the TI frame it replaced

Yes not as comfy, but it turns on a sixpence

Mine (hx1) is superb. Quite possibly my favourite bike I own.

EBB for my alfine Hub.

Havent got the headset yet, I'll just have to cross my fingers about the crown race when I get it.

I'm 5'8.5" and went with the small. Holding the frame next to my current bike (Orange P7), the new front end is going to be a lot lower, the headtube is substantially shorter.
