Shock bushing sizes - how precise are they?

I've been swapping shocks on my bike because the precious one fully blew up. I need some new bushings and mashed the old ones on their way out. I'm really struggling to find a replacement - the bushing goes not just into the shock eyelet, but also through part of the frame. The frame manufacturer is out of stock of them. They look like this-

On my digital calipers (which aren't particularly fancy) they measure 12.5mm ID, 15mm OD and 17mm long with a 2mm thick flange. There's room in the shock for a pair of 20mm long bushings. The shaft that goes through the bushings measures 12.5mm diameter.

I cannot find for the life of me an equivalent bushing. There's plenty of 12mm ID ones, but I can only find one with a 12.mm ID and it's got a 4mm flange so, despite being the correct overall length, it won't fit. Are bushing measurements so precise? Do I actually need a bushing that's listed as 12 or 13mm?

Thanks!

Are they not half inch? Plenty of shock bushes listed at 12.7mm.

@mick_r - that makes sense for ID. Leaves me struggling a bit with the OD, and the fact that these don't seem to be a standard shock bushing length. They seem to be 0.59" OD and 0.675" long and I can't find anything in that OD either.

Just realised that when shock bushes are listed as 1/2" that refers to the width of the shock eyelet, not its diameter. So back to square one.

A standard 1/2" shock eyelet uses a 1/2" (12.7mm) id x 19/32" (15.08mm) od x 1/2" wide bushing.

What youre looking for is probably not a standard bushing, as standard (industrial) tophat bushings have a bigger flange, however they can be machined down if needed.
Have a search on Igus, but you might not get them in the same material (that colour from igus is J type material, but theyve got a far more comprehensive range in thier standard grey/G material)

FWIW Igus also send out free samples if there are a couple of options that might fit. 8 or 10 should be enough to do a few back to back tests 😉

Since its quiet at work, nearest from igus are GFI-0809-12 which are longer than you need.
If you want low friction, swap the first G for J

I should have mentioned that the tolrances on the J are slightly loser.
Whats a nice fit on a G, will likely be a rattly fit on the J.

I'd have to check the catalogue, but IIRC the J type swell slightly with moisture, whereaa the G don't.
