Just want a little help if possible regarding shimano xt m775 disc brakes
I have just replaced the old pads with new and have found the old ones have worn unevenly the pad nearest the wheel is almost worn out while the pad on the opposite side still has material left on it. There is also more wear at the bottoms of the pads as than the tops anybody got any reasons as to why this might be and is the same going to happen on new pads?
Also with the new pads installed the pad nearest the wheel seems to drag a little. Will the dragging go with bedding in or do I have a problem with the calliper?

imperfect caliper alignment I think - re align it and maybe get the mount faced.
Sticky pistons? Need to clean the pistons with disc brake cleaner before reseting them
