We will be in touch
I've got a problem with my front brake lever and wondering whether it's fixable by me or I should cut my losses and buy a new lever.
When braking hard you can feel and hear a loud clicking noise, as if the brake lever is moving further towards the bar then it's designed to.
Brake is functional, it's just bloody annoying.
Hopefully the video makes it clearer, will need sound turned up to hear the click;

If it's a new lever and anyone has a SLX M7000 (right) kicking around, let me know.
Cheers
Probably a sticking piston. Look at the brake end whilst pulling the lever. Is is not moving then suddnely moves when it clicks,
You can try an pull the pistons out a bit, lube them with mineral oil to fix
That's the symptom of a sticky ServoWave cam, had it on previous brakes. If you look inside the lever there should be a pin that is pushed by the lever that rolls up and down to change the leverage ratio on the piston. If that gets sticky or gritty it can do what your lever is doing.
