Hey guy's, i've looked everywhere i can think of for a pair of black mp66 shimano shoes but no luck so i'm going to just get the white ones!
I currently have a pair of shimano spd shoes which are a size 46 although i have quite narrow feet and they feel a little too wide. What are the sizes like on the mp66 shoes? I am a 10, according to a general eu conversion chart that would be a 45 but according to shimano you can have either a 9.5 or 10.5 (45/46). So for anyone who has purchased the mp66 shoes, did you just buy your normal eu size or go one up?

Thanks

Hugh

I use 46 on my shimano road shoes and disco slippers, but needed a 45 on the bmx style type (56 or 66)

rOcKeTdOg- what size are you in a uk size then? As a 44 on the shimano conversion is a 9 but on any other eu conversion it's around a 10.

Like Rocketdog, I'm usually a 44 in any shoe (which I understand to be a 10 normally), but in Shimano shoes I have to wear a 45

Incidentally, the MP66's are pretty wide, I've got quite narrow feet too so I make sure I wear reasonably thick socks with them. Great shoes though!

if it helps at all I usually take a 45 in normal shoes - which the MP66's match - but I need smaller in road shoes.

ok cool, 45's it is then! I've been contemplating using flats for a bit but after i've bought the pedals then decent shoes it will add up to a fair bit! I've always ridden with flats and made the switch to spd's when i packed up trials and bought a "normal" bike!
I guess i may as-well stick to the spd's as i'm just riding all mountain and pretty comfy jumping in them etc.

Will i need new cleats or is it ok to take them off my old shoes?

if they come off your old shoes ok use them, you might find they are a struggle to remove though
