Hi does shimano mineral oil have a shelf life if left in the original container and unused for maybe 6 years?

i thought advantages of mineral oil is that it not hydroscopic like the other stuff.
I've set of deore brakes which were last bled 6 years ago - do they work fine - yes.
as long as you kept lid on and its not been contaminated i presume its ok/or you will die
