I’ve got a Jones loop bar on my gravel bike and I am feeling a bit exposed while getting in “aero” position holding the front bar. I’ve got Shimano XT levers connected to GRX 810 callipers.

How does it work? Does the hose from the primary lever route to the top bar level then on to the calliper? Do you reckon it would work with XT levers?

I think the model is Shimano GRX BL-RX812.

Thx for your thoughts.

Rich

Dealer manual answers all your questions

Hose from primary lever->secondary lever-> hose to caliper

How will you mount the lever on the Jones bars? It uses a 38mm clamp.

31.6mm clamp...

Needs 38mm of bar space..

But still - the loop of a loop bar is only 22.somethingmm isn't it..

Yes, I’d have to use a shim. It certainly won’t be a pretty set up if were to do it.
