Thinking of getting a pair of these and was wondering whether they work well on flats, as well as SPDs. I like the idea of having one pair of shoes that I can use on both types of pedals. Am I just going to end up with averagely performing shoes on both types of pedals ? Opinions please.

They work ok on flats, but the sole does get chewed up by pins and the cover of the cleat falls out. I'd not use them on flats again.
