Anyone been to either Sherwood Pines or Cannock Chase today? I heard rumours that they might have shut the trails due to forecast high winds. As I'm running away from the Peak because I hate riding in the wind, I'd quite like to know if there's anything worth running to!

Cannock officially closed in a "if you ride & a tree falls on you you can't sue us" way but I'll guess you can still access it
Yeah cannock closed but parked up the top end.
Saw a tree topple today up the otherside by firing range side.
Very windy and it surprises me how much the trees actually bend/sway.
Off piste it wasn't too bad but we did the last part of tackeroo on the way back and got drenched from the amount of water thrown up.
I've been picking trees off the roads all weekend. I didn't think there would be any more to blow down after the previous fortnight's high winds. Be careful, they can fall down at any time.
