Just setting up my Trance, fitted with an RP3 shock. This is my first full sus and need to set up the sag, should I set 20% as a basic? Also, can anyone point me at pike pressure settings recommended by RS?

The trance should be setup between 20 and 30% of the shocks travel. so between 8 and 11mm.

Seeing as the RP3 has got 3 propedal settings set it for 30%, it will give you a smoother ride, as you can get the pedal performance by flicking the blue lever towards the + sign on the shock.

In that case, how much sag for the forks?

I would follow the Giant guidelines initially. At 20% sag you'll get no chain induced bob in the minimum compressions damping setting at all and it will feel very taught and grippy under pedalling.

But seeing as you have an RP3, you could increase the sag to approx 1/3rd of the travel. This drops the BB by 1" and it becomes super plush - basically a downhill monster. Unfortunately, you get a little chain-induced movement when pedalling. But if you flick into the compression damping settings, the bike stands back up and all pedal bobbing stops! The best of both worlds!

RS recommended pressures written on the Pikes tend to be a bit out.

Also TFT told me not to bother about setting sag on the Pikes, but to just set them up at a pressure (or preload -if coil) that gives you the ride you want, as Pikes tend to ride on the damper rather than the spring (whatever that means)

Not very helpful I know, but it'll just be a case of setting something nominal and tweaking them until they feel right.

don't worry too much about sag settings - seriously......
try it too soft to begin with and work towards stiffer.
more sag and more LS damping are trail tracking settings.

Quick question, when setting sag on a RP3 should the ProPedal Lever be in the middle position?

If not what position?

Well I just want starting stuff. My Rebas are set up nothing like the recommendations but it was a decent starting point.

Setting sag on the RP23 propedal should definitely be off - as per the manual.

Pike pressures on the fork are waaay off. For 20-25% sag I have 125 +ve and 130 -ve - I am 75kg without gear. When new the Pikes tend to not to show all their travel. Before checking the pressures lift the bars up and push the wheel down to ensure you are at indicated full 140mm travel otherwise your pressures will be screwed
