I am working through my first build with some help from mates. Really enjoying the experience so far.
I am fitting SRAM X01 and an AB Oval front chainring to the bike.
I followed the AB instructions and sized the chain around the largest gear and added two links.
Having problems setting up the X01 RDR and wondered if anyone could spot or suggest anything obvious.
I made sure RDR was all the way over to the big cog position and connected chain.
Now for some reason I can't get the RDR to shift out further than from smallest gear to 6th gear.
Any ideas on what I should check or what I can try? Thanks!
Is the limit screw unwound enough? Is the chain long enough?
I will check but I thought the limit screws were just for fine adjustment
As for the chain, I sized it based upon the instructions on the Absolute Black website. I will check it again.
Could I try anything else?
Cable tension, limit screws, mech catching on something. Nothing else it can really be, should be obvious when it's that far out.
