not seen it in the flesh but bar two rub marks looks mint in the photos, three years old, owner says never crashed although did fall off twice (while coming to a stop at lights) while getting used to clipless.

(also, I'd guess that shit repairs would be easy to spot and good repairs are probably nothing to worry about)
Last 12 months on a second hand carbon frame here with no issues whatsoever. Just give it a good inspection when you go to see it.
Given that it doesn't fatigue, then yes.
I'm riding around on an 8 year old carbon bike with loads of nicks and gouges - works fine so far 🙂
I ride a 09 carbon frame bought crash damaged last year.
It was chipped/scratched, been riding fine.
Ditto on my third month on a carbon frame bought second hand from an online bike shop. Plenty of pics and a decent rep helped. But carbon is harder to hide problems than a filled or repainted frame so if you're happy second hand go for it.
Done over 6000km on a second hand carbon road frame. Want a new bike but it wont be as good.
I bought and repaired a crash Damaged carbon frame last year no disasters yet (touch wood).And a mate is riding a decade old trek he bought 2nd hand a couple of years ago for peanuts also without any death so far.
Carbon is actually quite easy to fix safely and relatively cheaply IMO, people's paranoia about the stuff comes from a general lack of understanding.
