The first thing I look at in a bike is ," will my calf rub on the seat stay?"
I don't have overly large calves (40cm) but there are so many bikes that my leg rubs on. My Santa Cruz Super light had to go , my friends Stumpjumper is a no go.
Other people ride these bikes with no problems.
I'm clipped in and I can't see that I'm riding that knock kneed, no one has ever said anything.
Boost rear ends could effectively scupper any new bike purchase.
My fatbike is fine however.
Does anyone else have this problem? Did you solve it?
Have you tried:
Pedals with longer (boost) axles?
Different cleat angle?
Saddle moved forward (or back) on the rails?
Saddle lower?
getting someone to film you from behind pedalling to work out whats going on with your legs?
My left heel used to rub my left chainstay really badly and i always got a sore left quad when standing on the pedals. After consulting a physio I focused on strengthening the internal rotation of my hip joint to "straighten up" my natural foot angle and this has made a difference.
Do your toes/knees stick out when riding?

I used to have this… ‘till I changed to flat pedals. For many people spd pedals force you feet to be kept closer to the bike than is ideal, and further back. As suggested, try getting your clipless pedals moved outboard more, and your cleats shifted further back in your shoes… or try flats.
Anyone else going to measure their calves now?

Not calves but heel rubbing d/s crank and seatstay. But like OP I don't know how. A bit like weeping angels, they get closer when you're not looking.
Ditch the seat, problem solved 😉

you can get pedal axle extensions which push the pedals out. I had some when I had a front mounted childseat to help get my knees either side of it. https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/pedals-cleats/20-jtek-qplus-pedal-extenders-916-inch/

Actually I think those might come in useful for my OH with the Wee Ride on her bike (eldest on a Mac Ride on my bike). Ta.
weeride was exactly the use-case I had them for. I still found riding bow-legged uncomfortable, but it was a bit of an improvement. Eventually moved onto a bakfiets, wouldn't look back
50cm calfs here. definitely rub on pretty much every bike i've ever had. not great when it's grimy and wet, i just see it as a cheap way to exfoliate!
I wrote a while back that Boost was making me pigeon toed and was told I was talking bollocks. Funnily enough I have the same problem as you...
