Love the bike but when i stop pedalling for a freewheel i get a high pitched wineing noise,any ideas what it is?

Freehub? Brake? try feathering the rear brake to see if it stops/changes and try a different wheel,,
Edit and check the front mech cable to see if the ends rubbing on the rear tyre, ditto rear brake hose..

Most likely something rubbing, or a wheel bearing etc.

How old are the wheels? What hub? Could be a bearing on the way out - wheel or freehub...or did you get a very expensive rear wheel and that is the noise it makes as it freewheels? Hope is a very loud click, chris king seems to be a higher pitched buzz sound...
