i've got loads of friends with them, they're just hanging on cellar/garage walls.
modern 'trail' bikes are just as capable riding down hills, without all the weight to drag up the hill.
they'd sell them, but they're so old that they're not worth much, but they're too nice to let go for a bargain price.
so they just hang on walls, while their owner tries not to think about what to do with them.
I have a #2 Bullit, size small, in trans red that has been ridden as if by an elderly nun... though probably one who has been excommunicated for inappropriate activity with some choirboys.
I'm getting round to cleaning it up for sale once christmas is over....
