Hey,

Just bought a Santa Cruz Blur LT 2011, love the bike, but not overly happy with the forks that came with it. They are 140mm Rockshox Sektor r's.
Fancy a change, maybe something bigger, any recommendations out there?

If you have the cash to splash, Bos Deville's ...

(I didn't have the cash to splash so got some 2nd hand 2011 Fox 36 VAN's for £450 off of the 'E' bay)

150mm Rev's perhaps, its what are on my Blur, nice forks much more controlled than the Pikes I replaced

I've put 2 step lyrics on, which means I can climb and descend in perfect happiness, and they've yet to break....

Right ok, thanks for replies, so if i wanted to fit the lyrics or vans, would i have to change the hubs to accommodate the bigger front spindle??

Nope, your sectors should be 20mm bolt throughs. The Lycics will fit right on. The Vans might need a 15mm hub adaptor. im not a Fox fan so not sure if the 36 Vans come with a 20mm or 15mm axle

Thanks for the advice, un-fortunately i think i have 15mm Quick release type on mine at the moment, so if i want to fit the Lyrics would i just need to buy a 20mm adaptor kit? they pretty straight forward to fit?
