contemplating next bike - the above has cropped up in various discussions- how does it compare to the Boardman CX, or the Genesis Croix de Fer or Vapour disk? or Cube Reaction 29er.....?
what are the main differences/reasons to choose one over the other? Will be used for short road and canal path (currently very muddy) commute, and maybe as bike to nip to the shops on - will not be doing regular road trips on it, though one-offs are a possibility - am not a roadie.....

Singular Gryphon is a similar beast but IM (somewhat biased) O, a nicer bike and cheaper.
