[Closed] Running 150mm Rev's at 100mm to tide me over - lunacy or okay?

Is there any reason that they won't work ok? I realise there is an unnecessary weight penalty etc, but as a tide-me-over onto the frame that I need/want, will they be alright? Functionally I mean. If they'll work but be rubbish I'd probably rather cut my losses.

Don't see what not, they're not exactly heavy and they'll be proper stiff at 100mm.

I've just dropped mine to 130mm BTW

Revs are light. I don't see a problem

I thought they were only adjustable down to 120mm? (if it's the current ones)

Mine are doing full-time Reba imitation duty just now, the spring isn't quite in its comfort zone to be honest, but they're still doing the job very well (they have quite a lot of ramp up, so getting full travel and reasonable sag doesn't seem to be on the cards but that's OK)
