I run Stan's Flow rims and can't decide which of these RQ options to go for. UST are loads cheaper, but heavier and without the Black Chili compound. I'd imagine the two options act like completely different tyres. Currently running UST Nobby Nics and love them, but do want to try the RQs - just what option is best?

If you want to run them tubeless then I think you'd want UST as I believe I've read the non-UST have pretty thin/porous side walls and can be a hassle. I'm assuming you are need 2.2's as the 2.4's are available UST with BC.

I love my UST 2.2 RQs. All I can tell you.

yeah, shame they don't do tyres with both... i have some "rain kings" on flows, but they're non-ust and wont hold air overnight...

I love my 2.2" UST RQ too, recently due to weather and saving a bit of weight changed to a larsen out back, and staying with the RQ up front..

I have a 2.4 UST up front and a 2.2 UST on order for the back. The 2.4 is hefty - wouldn't fancy it on the back for general riding. Really impressed with it on the front though, very confidence inspiring tyre.
